Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CT H(b) Crane License required.
• 1–5 years of crane operating experience in construction, utility, drilling, or related fields.
• Experience operating cranes from 1–20 tons.
• Knowledge of load charts, rigging practices, lift planning, and jobsite hazard assessment.
• Driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic and electric cranes safely for field drilling and construction tasks.
• Perform lifting, loading, unloading, and positioning of drilling equipment and materials.
• Review lift plans, verify load weights, crane capacities, and site conditions before lifts.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of cranes and related equipment; perform routine maintenance.
