Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of crane operation experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and knowledge of rigging, load weights, and lift planning. CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1–5 years of crane operation experience in construction, utility, drilling, heavy civil or industrial environments.
  • Experience operating hydraulic and electric cranes from 1 to 20 tons.
  • Knowledge of rigging, load weights, lift planning, and site hazards.
  • OSHA familiarity and safe handling practices.
  • CDL preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hydraulic and electric cranes from 1-ton to 20-ton capacity safely.
  • Assist field crews by lifting, loading, unloading, and positioning equipment.
  • Review lift plans and verify weights, crane capacities, and site conditions.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and basic crane maintenance.
  • Complete inspection reports and daily field records.
