Job summary

Joyce Steel Erection, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Crane Operator in Longview, TX to support heavy lifting operations at job sites. You will operate cranes, conduct safety inspections, and coordinate with truck drivers and crew to assemble and disassemble cranes and lifts.

The position requires NCCCO certification, knowledge of OSHA/ANSI standards, and the ability to follow directions from supervision while maintaining strict safety practices on all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have NCCCO crane operator certification.
• Must have crane operator qualification evaluations for all crane types.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards related to crane and rigging.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to take direction from supervision and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane under full control and supervision.
• Inspect crane and below-the-hook lifting devices regularly for safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and carry tools for repairs as needed.
• Direct truck drivers and crane helpers during assembly/disassembly, crane setup, and scope of work.
• Mentor other crane operators and helpers on site.
