Job summary

BAR Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced crane operator to operate a hydraulic lattice boom or telescoping crane on outdoor construction sites, lifting and positioning loads.

Requirements include at least one year of telescoping boom crane experience, OSHA-recognized crane operator certification (NCCER, NCCCO), and a high school diploma or GED preferred. Candidates must perform pre-operation inspections, report maintenance needs, follow safety policies, and work in varying weather

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year experience operating telescoping boom crane.
• Valid OSHA crane operator certification (NCCER, NCCCO) is required.

• Pre-Operation inspection to ensure crane and all of its components are in proper working order.
• Maintenance reporting of any mechanical issues
• Comply with all safety policies and follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of everyone on site.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Load assessment determining the weight and balance of loads to avoid overloading the crane.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description: Operate a hydraulic lattice boom or telescoping type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights and perform other related operations.

Licenses and Certifications: Valid, OSHA-recognized crane operator certification (NCCER, NCCCO).

• Operate crane to lift, move and position loads as required by the job.
• Pre-Operation inspection to ensure crane and all of its components are in proper working order.
