Prince in Florida seeks a crane operator to observe load hookups, determine load safety, and control crane speed and direction per written or verbal instructions. You will inspect and maintain the crane and may attach loads prior to operation.

Candidates must stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods, work about ten hours a day, five days (and sometimes six), outdoors in heat and rain, around heavy traffic, and comply with safety and equal opportunity guidelines.

• Must have the physical endurance to stand, kneel, walk, lift, bend, stoop, push and pull for long periods.
• Ability to work about ten hours per day, five days (and sometimes six) per week.
• Outdoor work in Florida heat and rain; around heavy highway traffic areas.

• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism
• Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions
• May attach load to hook or other crane accessory prior to operating crane
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, lift, bend, stoop, push and pull for long periods of time
• Must be able to work on average ten (10) hours per day, five days (and occasionally six days) per week
• All work is performed outdoors in Florida heat and rain; and around heavy highway traffic areas.
