Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking experienced crane operators to support diverse industrial projects across multiple job sites in Louisiana.

You will operate cranes, perform routine maintenance, and assist with repairs while ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA and ANSI standards. The role requires valid CDL A, NCCCO certification, and hands-on mentoring of junior operators, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class A CDL license.
• NCCCO Crane Operator Certification.
• Crane Operator Qualification Evaluations on all crane types.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards for crane and rigging.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane under complete control.
• Operate crane under supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Carry tools for performing repairs as needed.
• Travel crane to and from job sites and assist with setup.

• OPERATING CRANE UNDER COMPLETE CONTROL
• OPERATING CRANE UNDER SUPERVISION
• PERFORMING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
• CARRYING TOOLS FOR PERFORMING REPAIRS AS NEEDED
• UNDERSTANDING AND EXECUTING THE JOB BILLING PROCESS
• TRAVELLING THE CRANE TO AND FROM JOB SITES.
• WEARING REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WHILE PERFORMING WORK.
• CLEANING AND MAINTAINING THE CRANE AND ALL COMPONENTS
• UTILIZING MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS DURING ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY WHILE ERECTING CRANE, AND WHILE OPERATING THE CRANE IN ALL CONFIGURATIONS
• DIRECTING TRUCK DRIVERS AND CRANE HELPERS DURING THE PROCESS OF ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY, CRANE SET UP, AND SCOPE OF WORK.
• MENTOR OTHER CRANE OPERATORS, CRANE HELPERS, ETC.
• MINIMUM CLASS A CDL DRIVERS LICENSE AND MAINTAIN IT
• MUST POSSESS A N.C.C.C.O. CRANE OPERATOR CERTIFICATION CARD FOR SIZE AND TYPE OF CRANE OPERATING.
• MUST POSSESS CRANE OPERATOR QUALIFICATION EVALUATIONS ON ALL TYPES OF SIZE AND TYPE OF CRANES OPERATING.
• MUST HAVE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE OF OSHA REGULATIONS, AND ANSI STANDARDS ASSOCIATED WITH CRANE AND RIGGING SERVICES
• MUST BE PROFICIENT IN ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE DIRECTION(S) FROM SUPERVISION.
• MUST BE ABLE TO MENTOR OTHER CRANE OPERATORS, CRANE HELPERS, ETC.
• MUST PERFORM DAILY AND MONTHLY EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS
• MUST FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AS WELL AS THAT OF CUSTOMERS.
• HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
• BE ABLE TO DRIVE HAUL TRUCK AND DELIVER LOADS
• MAINTAIN LOGBOOK AND HOURS
