Job summary

A leading steel manufacturing firm located in South Carolina is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician. In this role, you'll maintain overhead cranes with a strong emphasis on electrical maintenance. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment and a high school diploma or GED. Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to provide written and/or electronic reports and verbally communicate with customers.
• Ability to work at heights greater than six feet off of the ground.
• Attention to detail required; good problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED is required

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of overhead cranes.
• Heavy emphasis on electrical maintenance.
• Work with electrical systems including AC Drives and PLC controls.
• 3 Phase 480 power, AC magnet controllers and DC magnet controllers
• Mechanical systems, gearboxes, wheels, couplings, and structure
