Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled crane operator to operate a range of heavy equipment on construction sites. You will set up machines, adjust settings, and move loads according to safety procedures.

You may work on unlevel surfaces and assist in lifting or positioning materials, always observing project rules. You must follow hand signals, inspect equipment, and perform routine maintenance while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with power-driven machinery in construction settings.
• Ability to follow established guidelines under supervision.
• Ability to interpret hand signals and load charts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment per guidelines and procedures.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications accurately and timely.
• Move levers to control diesel, electric, gasoline or steam-powered equipment.
• Interpret hand signals to determine load placement.
• May operate on unlevel surfaces.
• May assist in lifting, positioning and securing materials.
• May perform routine maintenance or cleaning on tools and equipment.
• Observe and comply with safety and project rules.
• Perform other duties as required.
