Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an experienced crane operator to set up and run heavy equipment on site. You will adjust controls to meet specifications, follow hand signals for material placement, and work around uneven surfaces while maintaining safety compliance.

This role may include assisting with lifting, positioning, and basic maintenance, with strict adherence to site rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and field experience.
• Familiar with crane operations, rigging and safety practices.
• Works under supervision and follows established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates production equipment per guidelines.
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks on spec and on time.
• Moves levers to control diesel, electric, gas or steam-powered equipment.
• Interprets hand signals for material placement.
• May operate on unlevel surfaces and assist in lifting and positioning.
• May perform routine maintenance or repairs on tools/equipment.
• Follows safety and project rules; performs other duties as required.
