Job summary

Konecranes is seeking experienced service technicians to support our crane maintenance and repair operations across the United States. You will perform maintenance and inspections on various crane types at customer sites, troubleshoot electrical, electronic and mechanical issues, and conduct on-site repairs in collaboration with maintenance contracts and emergency calls.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent training, at least one year of electrical/electronic troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Education: two-year associate degree or equivalent training.
• Experience: minimum one year electrical/electronic troubleshooting.
• Must be willing to work overtime and out of town, and at heights.
• Safety Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections on RTG’s, STS, RMG, ASC, Straddle Carriers and other cranes at customer locations.
• Extensive on-site electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Carry out on-site repairs under maintenance contracts or emergency calls; document results.
• Maintain awareness of OSHA/ANSI/CMAA and other codes; obtain specific regs if requested.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately and log quotations given to customers.
• Review repairs with customers and obtain signatures on daily service reports.
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company equipment and assets.
• Manage parts procurement, ordering, and vendor relations for service jobs.
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage and perform safety audits on limit switches.
