Job summary

Ace Handyman Services in Salem, MA is seeking a highly motivated Craftsman with skills across plumbing, carpentry, tile, and electrical. You will deliver quality repairs and remodels for residential customers, while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.

You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work, be presentable, and communicate clearly with homeowners, manage tools, and identify additional services to help clients trust your capabilities.

Qualifications

• Multitrade craftsman required across plumbing, carpentry, tile and electrical trades.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills essential.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work independently.
• Ability to assess tasks, plan repairs and explain work to homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Perform home repairs and remodeling tasks across multiple trades.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair issues with quality workmanship.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and team members.

Additional Qualifications for this Craftsman Role:

Not necessarily having every tool, but knowing what tools are needed for certain tasks.

Troubleshooting Skills

Must be a quick thinker, able to examine issues and resolve them in a prompt and professional manner.

Excellent Communication Skills

Must be able to communicate effectively with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Suppliers, Property Managers and Commercial Customers.

Be Presentable

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.

Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.
