Job summary

PCL Industrial Construction Co. in Houston, TX is hiring a Craft Training & Workforce Development Administrator to support the administrative functions of the craft training and apprenticeship program, including NCCER curriculum, training, testing and credentialing.

The role involves managing records, scheduling, data entry and ongoing follow-up so the Craft Training Specialist can focus on oversight and workforce development initiatives. Excellent organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous administrative, coordinator, training-support, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in construction, training, workforce development, human resources, or related environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Strong organizational, recordkeeping and data-entry skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Craft Training Specialist and routine department workload.
• Supports administration and recordkeeping of craft training and apprenticeship program, including NCCER activities.
• Maintains apprentice records, rosters, enrollment, On-the-Job Learning, RTI, and progression documents.
• Updates NCCER records, credentials and employee qualification files.
• Maintains trackers, spreadsheets and shared files related to apprenticeship and workforce development.
• Assists with onboarding paperwork and routine program communications.
• Tracks missing records and deadlines; provides status updates to team.
• Prepares schedules, training materials, and program reports.
