Job summary

Michaels Pace, FL is seeking a Party and Event Host to plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging events such as children’s birthday parties within our store. You will deliver friendly customer service, support event operations, and engage with guests of all ages.

Ideal candidates have experience working with children and strong people skills. The role involves assisting with event set-up, coordinating with teammates, and ensuring safety and cleanliness before, during, and after events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store (children’s birthday parties, craft classes).
• Engage with guests of all ages; create a fun, creative environment.
• Instruct and assist participants during crafts and activities.
• Facilitate add-ons (goody bags, balloons) per company standards.
• Assist with checkouts and customer service tasks.
• Answer emails, phone calls, and complete paperwork as needed.
• Coordinate with store team and communicate event details.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies; maintain store cleanliness and safety.
