Job summary

A maritime support services company is seeking a Craft Master for the maintenance and repair of USN small boats. Candidates must hold a valid USCG 100 Ton Master license and have at least five years of experience in engine troubleshooting, hydraulics, and power generation. The role also requires CPR and AED certification as well as skills in precision navigation. Job description

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Craft Master's to provide Support Services for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upkeep of a variety of USN small boats.

Clearance:

• Secret clearance preferred

Must Hold the following License:

• Craft Masters shall hold a current United States Coast Guard (USCG) 100 Ton Master license.
• All Contractor personnel shall be trained and maintain currency in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation and First Aid. 100-Ton Captains Licenses and CPR certifications shall be current and available for Government inspection.
• Contractor shall ensure boat safety, certification and inspection in the following areas; hull, safety of life at-sea equipment (SOLAS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) and various firefighting equipment on board each vessel (i.e. fire extinguishers, fire hoses on larger craft, FM-200 and Heptafluoropropane Extinguishing Agent (HFC-227) and FM-200 fire suppression systems on PSC-05, PSC-08, PSC-12, MK-V), MTU 60 series, Detroit Diesel 12V71, Cummins Diesel (B-Series), and small engine (2 cycle and 4 cycle) maintenance and repair. Additionally, be familiar with various communications (HF, VHF, and Satellite), Generator and AC/Heating systems.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in engine troubleshooting and repair, hydraulics and lubrication, power generation and distribution, motors and generators, radar and navigation systems, communications systems, experienced in corrosion control on aluminum hulls, repair/maintenance of instrumentation/test systems and other related craft technologies.
• Qualified crane operator and experienced in at-sea rigging.
• Possess the ability to run tracks within +/- 10 meters over 1,000 meter while towing instruments behind the craft, hold station in open water within 10 meters, conduct restricted maneuvering, and precision navigation within Global Positioning System (GPS) accuracy.
• Experience towing various arrays such as side scan sonar(s) and other test equipment and
