Job summary

Southern Tier Brewing Company in Cleveland is seeking a Line Cook to accurately prepare food at assigned stations and uphold quality standards. Reports to the Executive Chef or Manager on Duty, with starting pay at $18 per hour.

Responsibilities include following recipes, leading station setup, and maintaining cleanliness and safety while preparing menu items to order. The role requires teamwork and the ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a prep/line cook preferred.
• Basic sanitation knowledge and workplace safety sense.
• Understanding of food handling techniques and cooking procedures.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, team-based kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal ingredients following a recipe and line builds as directed.
• Lead station setup with focus on proper cooking, plating, and timing.
• Prepare menu items to order and maintain quality and flavor profiles.
• Support post-shift duties and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Label and store food, manage time-temperature logs per procedures.
• Follow opening/closing duties and ensure presentation quality.
• Assist with unloading, inspection, and storage of ingredients.
• Support planning and execution of private events with high-quality service.
