Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a Production Cook to prepare food to standard recipes, ensuring portion control, quality, and presentation while supporting efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will work varied shifts, maintain safety and sanitation, lift up to 50 lbs, and contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for guests across venues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a food handler's card.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfort working in diverse environments such as kitchens, casino floors, and areas with exposure to smoke and noise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for assigned venue in accordance with menu standards.
• Follow recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain proper food presentation and timeliness of service.
• Store and handle food correctly to prevent waste and spoilage.
• Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
