Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is hiring a Production Cook to prepare food items to established standards and recipes. You will help maintain portion control, food quality, and presentation while supporting efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation practices, and flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends. A food handler’s card and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfort working in diverse environments such as kitchens, casino floors, and areas with exposure to smoke and noise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for assigned venue in accordance with menu standards.
• Follow recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain proper food presentation and timeliness of service.
• Store and handle food correctly to prevent waste and spoilage.
• Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
• Promote the Big Six values: Fun, Friendly, Quick, Comfortable, Clean, and Safe.
