Job summary

Hotel Vin Rogers seeks a skilled Bartender to craft cocktails and beer while delivering a warm, welcoming guest experience at the bar and dining room. You will partner with teammates to ensure a consistent standard of service that delights guests and supports the restaurant.

Responsibilities include greeting guests promptly, presenting menus, upselling specials, recording orders in the POS, and maintaining bar cleanliness and stock. Experience with wine service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or above.
• Outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of wine and beverage brand selections, drink garnishes, prices, etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the inspiration, ingredients, and technique used in all house cocktails.
• Able to confidently make food and beverage pairing recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and seat them in a friendly manner.
• Present drink menus, take beverage orders, and upsell drink specials and food items.
• Prepare and serve cocktails and beer per standard recipes.
• Record drink orders accurately in the POS system.
• Accept guest payments and process charges.
• Learn the names of regular guests and provide attentive service.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and replenish stock as needed.
