Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking an experienced bartender who provides top-tier service and expert mixology. You will greet guests, suggest drinks, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining a clean, compliant bar environment.

Responsibilities include serving cocktails, operating Micros, restocking supplies, and assisting the F&B team as needed. Prior bartending experience and knowledge of liquor laws are required; ServSafe or TIPS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or barback experience
• Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Certifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies (ServSafe, TIPS)
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous and attentive manner
• Serve food and drinks for guests using suggestive selling techniques
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials
• Ring drink orders into computer, collect money from guests
• Prepare garnishes for drinks
• Operate the hotel computer system (Micros)
• Open and close bar procedures and side work
• Follow cash handling procedures and end-of-shift cash drops
• Maintain a clean bar and comply with liquor laws
• Engage guests in a cordial, professional manner
• Restock bar inventory as needed
• Assist F&B team as situations arise
• Resolve guest complaints and escalate when needed
