Job summary

New Land Hospitality operates some of Milwaukee's most notable venues, including Shanghai, Star Bar, and Canopy Bar. We’re hiring a bartender who loves craft cocktails and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include crafting drinks, assisting guests, batch prep, stock, and closing the bar. This role rewards energy, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year bartending experience; craft cocktail experience a plus
• Evenings and weekends availability
• Valid Milwaukee bartender's license
• Excellent communication and hospitality
• Able to stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Stand for long shifts, operate POS, lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Make and serve craft cocktails with precision and consistency
• Help guests choose drinks by learning preferences
• Batch and prep recipes during slower hours
• Stock, set up, and close the bar each shift
• Bring energy to themed nights, events and celebrations
• Work with teammates to maintain energy and standards
