Job summary

Puttshack in Skokie, IL is seeking a Bartender to mix and serve beverages with craft cocktail flair in a high-energy, hospitality‑focused setting. You will greet guests, prepare drinks per recipes, stock bar, and collaborate with team to deliver an elevated guest experience.

Our venues operate 7 days a week with flexible schedules and base wages plus tips. You must be 21+, have craft cocktail experience, and possess required state/local licenses.

Qualifications

• Prior craft cocktail experience in high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
• Must obtain required licenses per state/local requirements.
• Ability to multitask calmly in a busy environment.
• Safe and effective communication to perform job requirements.
• Must be 21+ years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders with a warm, attentive approach.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and instructions.
• Stock/restock bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice, garnishes, and supplies.
• Follow all steps of service for bar top, cocktail station, and dining area.
• Anticipate guests' needs and exceed expectations with friendly service.
• Understand and follow allergy procedures and special orders.
• Transport food and beverages safely and efficiently.
• Keep areas tidy and comply with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Direct barbacks and work as part of a team.
• Complete alcohol awareness training and policies.
• Open/close duties and other projects as assigned.
