Soho House Nashville is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails, serve food, and deliver memorable experiences to guests and members. You’ll greet guests, learn preferences, upsell items, and uphold brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in high-volume F&B, craft cocktail skills, and a friendly, efficient presence. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within Soho House's global program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in high-volume F&B operations.
• Craft cocktail experience and familiarity with seasonal ingredients.
• Experience making coffee drinks is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining consistency.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable.
• Tips certified.
• Micros POS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and organized section and collaborate with other bartenders; wash glassware and utensils after each use, clean up after customers and work area.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings.
• Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonally influenced menu items and food pairing options to promote sales.
• Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register.
• Check identification to ensure legal purchase of alcohol and tobacco and monitor intoxication levels.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to create displays that promote beverage options and enhance experience.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and delegate replenishment.
• Mix ingredients according to recipes to maintain a globally unified beverage program.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
