Soho House seeks an energetic Bartender to craft cocktails, serve beverages and food, and deliver memorable experiences for guests and members. You will learn the brand standards, upsell effectively, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, stylish environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in high-volume settings, craft cocktail skills, and a friendly, engaging personality. The role requires reliability and a flexible schedule in a dynamic club atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in high-volume F&B operation.
• Craft cocktail experience and working with seasonally influenced perishable items.
• Experience making coffee drinks a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining consistency.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable.
• Tips certified.
• Micros a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and organized section and collaborate with other bartenders; wash glassware and utensils after each use, clean up after customers and work area.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings.
• Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonally influenced menu items and food pairing options to promote additional sales through creating optimal experience for dining.
• Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register.
• Check identification of customers to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol/tobacco and monitor for over-consumption.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays boosting beverage options and sales.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Monitor and maintain inventory and delegate replenishment to Barbacks.
• Mix ingredients according to drink recipes for a unified beverage program.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
