Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality in Houston is seeking a Bartender to craft beverages and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will greet guests, mix cocktails, manage tabs, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar while ensuring compliance with safety standards and brand guidelines.

Experience with fast-paced service and knowledge of drinks is preferred; must be of legal drinking age and able to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and techniques.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain knowledge of a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits.
Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
Build relationships with regular patrons to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Handle payments, operate cash registers, and manage tabs accurately.
Ensure proper recording of sales and compliance with tipping policies.
Monitor and restock bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, and supplies.
Conduct inventory checks and communicate stock needs to management.
Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glasses and equipment.
Follow all food and beverage safety regulations.
Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
