Star Cinema Grill in Houston, TX is seeking a bartender to deliver memorable guest experiences by providing full bar service, crafting high-quality cocktails, and collaborating with the service team to ensure a seamless dining and entertainment experience.

You will engage guests, maintain a clean, organized bar, handle cash and credit transactions, check IDs, and uphold state regulations while thriving in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
• Able to multi-task.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and bend, climb or work in confined spaces.
• Customer service focused and solution oriented.
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Food handler's card may be required according to local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Full bar service, including wine, beer and craft cocktails.
• Assess guests' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Nurture a positive guest experience.
• Check guest identification.
• Adhere to state regulation for Food and Beverage service.
• Handling cash and credit transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests.
