Star Cinema Grill in Houston is seeking a Bartender to deliver memorable guest experiences by crafting high-quality cocktails and beverages. You will engage with guests, maintain a clean and organized bar, and work with the service team to ensure a seamless dining and entertainment experience.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in fine dining or casual dining hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
• Able to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Full bar service including wine, beer and craft cocktails.
• Assess guests' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Nurture a positive guest experience.
• Check guest identification.
• Adhere to state regulations for Food and Beverage service.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate charges and correct change.
• Maintain a clean work space.
• Maintain daily prep lists.
