Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a skilled Bartender for Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico. You will welcome guests, prepare cocktails, and ensure service with a focus on accuracy and hospitality.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of beverages, handling transactions, and adhering to responsible alcohol service policies while contributing to a memorable guest experience at a premier resort.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately.
• Strong cash-handling and POS skills.
• Must meet all applicable legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails and beverages according to approved recipes, specifications, portions, and presentation standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, menus, promotions, and featured products.
• Provide recommendations and actively promote premium spirits, wines, signature cocktails, and other offerings.
• Greet and serve bar guests professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare beverage orders for restaurant and cocktail servers within established service times.
• Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and take appropriate action in accordance with policy.
• Maintain accurate control of all beverages poured and served.
• Enter transactions into the POS system and process cash, credit card, room charge, and other payments.
