Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and safety standards for beer production.
• Mastery of Lab Operator tasks.
• Oversee lab tasks and procedures in brewing operations.
• Oversee maintenance of lab equipment.
• Plan and execute sensory training sessions.
• Manage lab labor scheduling and performance.
• Maintain SOPs, logs and safety documentation.
• Ensure team complies with policies and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively via email, phone, text or verbal tools.
• Screen, interview and hire new staff for lab department.
• Lead training and management of lab personnel, production scheduling and raw materials ordering.
• Validate timecards for department personnel.
• Perform facility-specific duties as required.
• Support other departments when needed and connect processes.
• Stay current on ASBC methodology.
