Job summary

Stein Distributing Company Inc is seeking a Craft Brand Manager to lead Craft, Specialty, and High-End brands in Boise, Idaho. You will direct a sales team, drive distribution, manage draught placement, and oversee promotional programs to grow volume and brand presence.

The role requires 3 years in craft beer, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. You will work on building brewery relationships and coordinating trips for the craft team in the Boise area.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead, motivate and develop department personnel including selection, performance management and employee relations.
• Develop and monitor sales, distribution and draught placement goals and monitor performance results.
• Develop and execute sales promotions to drive volume, brand awareness, sampling and retailer relations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with craft breweries and top craft accounts.
• Schedule craft brewer trips in and out of Boise and educate the sales team on new items.

Job Title: Craft Brand ManagerDepartment: SalesReports to: Sales ManagerI. OBJECTIVE / GENERAL DESCRIPTIONDirect the activities of Craft, Specialty, and High-End brands to achieve sales related objectives.II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct, lead, motivate and develop department personnel including selection, performance management and employee relations.Develop, achieve, and monitor sales, distribution and draught placement goals and monitor performance results.Develop and execute sales promotions to drive volume, brand awareness, sampling and retailer relations.Develop, communicate, and monitor impact selling and incentive programs.Develop, implement and monitor Balanced Scorecard as it relates to all On-Premise Sales Departments.Select and retain a high functioning Sales and Marketing Team.Maintain proper inventory levels on Craft and High-End beers and communicating inventory to Team Leaders and sale personnel.Assist in the development and implementation of the annual business plan and wholesaler assessment program.Frequent assessment of sales and merchandising key processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiencies and retailer satisfaction.Establish and monitor quality control standards (product freshness, finished product loss).Develop and monitor sales and marketing expense budgets in conjunction with Director of Sales.
