Stein Distributing Company is seeking a seasoned Sales & Marketing Manager to direct the activities of Craft, Specialty, and High-End beer brands from Boise, Idaho. You will lead a team, set sales goals, manage promotions, and ensure brand growth while maintaining compliance and strong retailer relations.

Based in Boise, the role emphasizes strategic leadership, budget oversight, and hands-on account management to build market share for SDC's premium beer portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 3 years of craft beer experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance, creating favorable public image and maintain proper conduct.
• Must be able to bend, lift, sit, squat, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Capable of driving a vehicle for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead, motivate and develop department personnel including selection, performance management and employee relations.
• Develop, achieve, and monitor sales, distribution and draught placement goals and monitor performance results.
• Develop and execute sales promotions to drive volume, brand awareness, sampling and retailer relations.
• Develop, communicate, and monitor impact selling and incentive programs.
• Develop and implement Balanced Scorecard as it relates to all On-Premise Sales Departments.
• Select and retain a high functioning Sales and Marketing Team.
• Maintain proper inventory levels on Craft and High-End beers and communicating inventory to Team Leaders and sale personnel.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the annual business plan and wholesaler assessment program.
• Frequent assessment of sales and merchandising key processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiencies and retailer satisfaction.
• Establish and monitor quality control standards (product freshness, finished product loss).
• Develop and monitor sales and marketing expense budgets in conjunction with Director of Sales. Monitor and approve all expenses and complete monthly variance reports.
• Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines.
• To Build and maintain strong relationships with our craft breweries
• To call on and maintain Stein Distributing top craft accounts
• Scheduling of craft brewer trip in and out of Boise
• Educate the entire sales team on new items.
• Develop craft relationship with chain accounts.
• Attend monthly and/or quarterly chain account call business reviews with KAM. Encourage chains to develop an improved craft presence with SDC Brands
