Job summary

The Sales Representative at Alaskan Brewing Co. is responsible for increasing distribution in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area, working with on- and off-premise accounts, and supporting the Regional Sales Manager on distributor management.

Based in Minnesota, you will conduct 10-15 sales calls daily, set up promotions, travel within the state, and build relationships with wholesalers and accounts to grow our craft beer brand while aligning with our Sales & Marketing Plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years beverage sales experience preferred.
• Passion for craft beer and willingness to learn the Alaskan portfolio.
• Knowledge of malt beverage distribution and sales preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase on/off premise distribution within assigned territories.
• Liaise between AKB and distributors and other customers.
• Work with wholesaler sales team and participate in sales meetings.
• Execute the annual Sales & Marketing Plan on the street level.
• Perform 10–15 sales calls daily, presenting product information and value to accounts.
• Set up and conduct promotional events at venues and festivals.
• Identify new sales venues to maximize product exposure.
