Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced EHS professional to support the Lilly Houston Project in Houston, Texas. Under senior EHS management, you will help implement the Craft Based Leadership program, conduct safety observations, and train workers in safe practices.

You will prepare technical safety reports, coordinate training, and maintain records. The role requires strong MS Office, SharePoint, and Power BI skills, with the ability to work unsupervised on a fast-paced construction site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in safety, industrial engineering, public health, or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with adult learning, facilitation, and training delivery.
• Experience with Behavior Based Safety or similar worker-led safety observation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Craft Based Leadership (CBL) program on the Lilly Houston Project.
• Deliver weekly CBL messages and maintain records and communications.
• Attend safety orientations for new hires, project teams, and the client.
• Prepare EHS reports and risk assessments related to behavior based safety.
• Coordinate training delivery and ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
