Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino seeks an experienced bartender to greet guests, take cocktail orders and craft drinks to hotel standards. The role requires maintaining bar cleanliness, managing stock and assisting training. Strong English communication and knowledge of wine/champagne service are essential.

With at least one year of high-volume bartending experience, you will deliver exceptional service, handle cash and ensure compliance with ABC laws and health standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year bartending experience in a high volume hotel / restaurant experience required
• Union Crafts (Pour) Card required
• Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
• Pleasing personality and ability to communicate with customers
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
• Knowledge of ABC laws
• Professional appearance and demeanor a must
• The ability to perform tasks that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer
• Knowledge of wine and champagne service
• High School Diploma is required

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every guest with a prompt and friendly greeting and take cocktail orders
• Prepare, garnish and serve cocktails to customers following hotel guidelines
• Maintain bar cleanliness to beverage and health department standards
• Prepare cocktails for food server, cocktail server, Gilley Girl & Guests
• Handle cash, credit cards and room charges in accordance with departmental policies
