Qualifications

• Minimum one year bartending experience in a high-volume hotel/restaurant.
• Excellent upbeat attitude with ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms.
• Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
• Ability to stand/move quickly for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every guest with a prompt, friendly greeting and engage in conversations to suggest or take cocktail orders.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve cocktails following hotel guidelines.
• Clean, organize and stock bar to beverage department standards and par levels.
• Handle cash, credit cards and room charges per departmental policies.
• Provide exceptional service while upholding health and sanitation standards.
• Assist with training new employees and answer questions as needed.
• Check IDs for guests likely under 30 and maintain glassware quality.
• Communicate special requests to management and ensure smooth service.
• Perform duties to support the beverage department's success.
