Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Bartender in Baton Rouge, LA. You will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, greet guests, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll follow alcohol service policies, check IDs, and maintain a clean, stocked bar.

The ideal candidate has prior bartending experience, strong beverage knowledge, and excellent hospitality. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending principles and recipes and current trends.
• Able to obtain all Aramark and state/local required alcohol service certifications.
• Displays phenomenal hospitality, friendliness, and beverage knowledge.
• Organizational & multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit transactions.
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• May include providing servers drinks from the service well.
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines, including checking IDs.
• Adheres to cash handling policies.
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels.
• Provides excellent guest service and ensures guest satisfaction.
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests and co-workers.
• Ensures security of company assets.
