Job summary

Ultipro in Jamul, CA is seeking a friendly bartender/server to deliver fast, attentive service to guests and team members, monitor alcohol consumption, and help drive a smooth, welcoming operation. You will prepare and pour drinks to recipe standards, handle cash and a POS system, check out with leadership, and keep your workstation clean and stocked.

This role requires valid Food Handlers, TiPS, and RBS certifications, ability to obtain a gaming license, and availability for nights, weekends,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to earn and maintain a current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.
• Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment.
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
• Prepare and pour drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe, communicates with beverage servers, and presents drinks to guests or servers as required.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Operate a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change; accounts for all cash and charge sales according to established procedure.
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
• Respond to “to go” orders including packaging orders, collection of payment and delivery to guest.
• Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
