Job summary

Collared Martin Hospitality is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team in Teton Village, Wyoming. You will take orders, craft beverages, promote food offerings, and build repeat clientele in a fast-paced bar environment.

You will be responsible for accurate POS input, wine service, maintaining bar cleanliness, and delivering memorable guest experiences while adhering to health and safety standards. English communication and team collaboration are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a full-service restaurant bar environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have active ServSafe Alcohol and Food Allergen certifications, or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements to serve alcohol and work behind a bar.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Extensive working knowledge of the entire food menu with full descriptions and all associated food allergies.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations related to food service and health code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all bar guests immediately, even when busy.
• Take guests’ food and beverage orders, use salesmanship, and make recommendations.
• Input orders into the POS system accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of house cocktails, standard recipes, and our wine list.
• Prepare beverages quickly for bar guests and service bars.
• Ensure proper wine service, including opening bottles correctly.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar.
• Manage guest checks and payments accurately; handle cash responsibly.
• Close out cash checks at end of shift and complete end-of-night checkout.
• Follow responsible alcohol practices and health department procedures.
