Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Bartender to serve beverages and/or food with a focus on guest satisfaction. You will maintain a clean bar, prepare drinks and foods, check IDs, manage payments and support inventory and sustainability initiatives.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and bartending experience; TIPS and food sanitation certificates are a plus and may be required within 90 days. This role involves varied shifts and holiday/weekend work in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certification a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take orders, serve and clear food and beverages to guests in bar/lounge areas.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.
• Assist with beverage inventory.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
