Job summary

Maui Brewing Company Kailua is seeking a bartender to join our craft-focused team in Kailua, HI. You will provide friendly service, assist guests with beer and cocktail pairings, and maintain a well-organized bar area on-site.

The role offers $14.75/hour plus tips, with either full-time or part-time hours depending on shift availability. Perks include free meals during training, employee discounts, PTO after one year, and eligible health coverage for 20+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of bartender experience in a full-service bar or restaurant.
• Knowledge of craft beer and cocktails; ability to make recommendations.
• Passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Strong team player with good collaboration skills.
• Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) required.
• Average tips of $25–$35 per hour depending on shift and sales.
• Free shift meals during training; $5 shift meals thereafter.

• PTO after 1 year; medical/vision/dental insurance when working 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service and assist with menu selections and beverage recommendations.

• Ensure compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and liquor laws.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Support the service team with dining operations and guest experience.
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
