Job summary

Makena Golf & Beach Club in Maui, HI seeks a part-time Combination Bartender/Server (Casual) to join the Food and Beverage Service Department. You will provide timely service of drinks and oversee bar and dining areas, delivering memorable experiences to members.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending, knowledge of cocktails, wine, and food pairings, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP & local food safety standards; State Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong wine and beverage knowledge.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English proficiency required; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely service of drinks and oversee bar and dining areas.
• Greet members and guests, explain the menu and daily specials.
• Enter transactions into POS system and charge members accurately.
• Maintain bar and storage area cleanliness and organization.
• Follow cocktail recipes and house-made ingredients.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
