Job summary

King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a full-time Banquet Bartender on Hawaii's islands to craft beverages and provide guest-focused service. The role requires at least one year of bartending experience in a full-service setting and familiarity with Micros POS.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant or Hotel F&B outlet.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Micros knowledge preferred.
• Ability to operate a computerized point of sale system (Micros).
• TB clearance card required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Cheerfully wait on guests, make recommendations and upsell beverages.
• Create and serve beverages to guests.
• Responsible for designated section and accurately collecting and completing payment for orders.
• Process all cash and card transactions according to house policies.
• Stock side station with garnishments, bar mats, mixers, ice and jiggers.
• Assist Food and Beverage Manager with stocking beverages and mixes.
• Stock beverages and mixes for next shifts.
• Close checks and run reports at the end of shifts.
• Maintain clean bar tables, chairs, stools and counter surfaces.
• Adhere to food safety standards.
• Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to the Housekeeping.
