Job summary

Jobtailor in Raleigh seeks a motivated bartender to join our team. You will open and close the bar, make and serve drinks, maintain cleanliness, and manage inventory while delivering friendly, high-quality beverages.

The role requires prior bartending experience, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and reliable transportation. A strong work ethic and excellent guest service are essential; knowledge of Micros POS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or training required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Be self motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
• Knowledge of the Micros operating system a plus.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine & liquor and common drink recipes.
• Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight up to 40lbs.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Clean background check required
• Reliable transportation required
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the bar
• Make and serve drinks
• Clean tables and bar area
• Maintain the alcohol storage room and inventory levels
• Restock items when necessary
• Mix liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Display knowledge of menu items, contents and preparation methods
• Maintain knowledge of hotel property and amenities
• Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing high-quality beverages for guests
