Job summary

Optum Bank is seeking a CRA Officer to lead the Community Reinvestment Act program in line with regulatory requirements and the CRA Strategic Plan. The role interfaces with Optum and UnitedHealth Group entities to document CRA-eligible activities.

The position is based in Draper, UT with four in-office days per week and a focus on lending, investments, and services aligned with CRA objectives. Strong regulatory and community engagement experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a bank or regulated financial institution
• 5+ years in a CRA program
• Experience meeting regulatory CRA expectations
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Ability to work in Draper, UT office
• Driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and management of Bank CRA program according to CRA Strategic Plan objectives, Board directives, and regulatory requirements
• Build community partnerships and networks in advancement of Bank CRA objectives (loans, investments, and services)
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal Bank and UHG functions on CRA-qualifying activities
• Manage documentation of CRA-qualified activities and produce reporting for stakeholders
• Benchmark other CRA programs and document Bank CRA Performance Context
• Engage with regulatory agencies on CRA matters and advocate for the Bank
• Manage the CRA Strategic Plan, solicit community input, and submit for regulatory approval
• Source and execute CRA-qualified service opportunities for Bank personnel at various levels
• Provide CRA-qualified Board service to CRA-qualified agencies
• Respond to community and regulator input on CRA program
• Manage CRA examinations by regulatory authorities
• Manage annual CRA data reporting
• Manage Bank CRA donation budget and opportunities
