Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. seeks a Community Reinvestment Act Officer to develop and administer the CRA compliance program, including HMDA data integrity, and to support lending operations and senior management with regulatory reporting.

The role requires staying current with laws and guidance, training staff on CRA and Fair Banking, analyzing loan data for CRA goals, and coordinating with auditors and regulators to ensure timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred.
• 3+ years of CRA or fair lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of CRA, HMDA, and fair lending requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CRA/HMDA expertise and regulatory updates.
• Ensure CRA documents and lobby notices meet requirements.
• Train employees on CRA and Fair Banking.
• Develop and monitor Fair Banking risk assessments.
• Analyze data and report results to committees and management.
