Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking an LMHA CQI Coordinator to support and advance Continuous Quality Improvement across mental health and substance use services. You will work with clinical leadership, operations, and external partners to enhance access, outcomes, and compliance while ensuring safety and effectiveness of services.

The role requires a background in business, legal, administration, or healthcare fields, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree in related areas and up to two years

Qualifications

• Defined Education: Business, Legal, Administration, Healthcare or a closely related field.
• Preferences: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration.
• Substitutions: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, including a High School Diploma/GED with a Paralegal Certificate and 2 years’ experience in a legal, compliance or administrative environment.
• Years’ Experience: Up to two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Defined Experience: Experience in contract development and negotiation, financial oversight, compliance monitoring, auditing, legal matters, data-driven project or program management, OR evaluation of program or project performance.
• License/Certifications: Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required.
• Special Courses: None
• Supervisory Experience: None

Responsibilities

• Supports and advances Continuous Quality Improvement activities for mental health and substance use services.
• Focuses on improving access, service delivery, clinical outcomes, and compliance across adult, youth, and crisis services.
• Collaborates with clinical leadership, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and effectiveness of behavioral health services.

Education

Defined Education: Business, Legal, Administration, Healthcare or a closely related field

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration

Substitutions: HS Diploma/GED with Paralegal Certificate and 2 years’ experience
