Department: Continuining Education

Location: Framingham

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community, and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. The Office of Corporate Partnerships and Workforce Development is seeking instructors for various noncredit courses run by its program. Programs include:

  • Professional Development: courses on teaming, leadership, communication styles;
  • IT-Related: CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+;
  • Au Pair Program: cultural, historical knowledge of United States and Cross-cultural themes;
  • English as a Second Language (ESL);
  • Foreign Language.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Prepare teaching outlines and identify materials for course;
  • Teach courses and employ instructional techniques suitable for a wide variety of learners;
  • Keep accurate records of attendance and respond to student inquiries;
  • Meet with Director as needed for training.

This list is not to be considered all-inclusive. A supervisor may assign other duties as required to meet the needs and foster the mission of the College.

Required Qualifications:
  • Teaching experience at the high school or college level;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a community college or similar environment;
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with students in need;
  • For corporate training: experience in a corporate environment.
Additional Information:
  • Salary Range: $50.00 - 50.00 Hourly Wage
  • Classification Type: Adjunct Faculty
