Job summary

Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is hiring a Human Services Technician in Brady, TX. The role supports CPS cases, including transportation, visit supervision, and clerical duties.

Travel up to 75–85% is required and the position may involve overtime in some cases. This full-time role requires reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One-year full-time social services, clerical, secretarial, administrative support, general office, or FPS experience preferred.
• Thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for clients to/from appointments as requested by caseworkers.
• Observe/supervise parent and child visits.
• Complete forms and document client contacts in IMPACT and systems.
