The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is hiring a Human Services Technician in Lumberton, TX. You will assist in CPS cases, provide transportation, supervise visits, and handle clerical duties in a busy regional office.

This full-time role requires frequent travel (up to 75%), a valid TX driver's license, and reliable vehicle. Overtime may be possible; excellent benefits accompany the pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Child Protective Services and community resources.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for clients as requested by caseworkers.
• Observe and supervise parent-child visits.
• Complete forms and document client contact in agency systems.
• Maintain appointment calendars for scheduling requests.
• Perform clerical duties (typing, filing, faxing, copying, phones).
• Respect and promote cultural diversity in all contacts.
• Attend work regularly per policy.
