Job summary

Travel up to 60% is required, with robust on-call expectations. Initial screening includes degrees and experience in protective services; positions involve court hearings, home studies, and ongoing case documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and family dynamics essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% (local and out-of-area).
• BS/BA or higher in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives cases after children are removed and placed in CPS conservatorship.
• Determine needs and referrals to services and permanency planning.
• Work with families, kinship providers, and legal parties for permanency.
• Perform home studies and assess risk and safety with parents.
• Attend court hearings and prepare court reports.
