Job summary

NRDC is seeking two undergraduate interns for the Chief Program Office in Washington, DC. The internship runs 10 weeks, requires 35 hours per week, and is onsite 3 days per week with a paid stipend of $7,000.

Interns will assist with planning, research, briefing materials, and cross-functional coordination across NRDC’s program areas, gaining exposure to senior leadership and across-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and May 2027 graduates eligible.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Project management and/or problem solving skills.
• Commitment to NRDC’s mission, values, and DEI principles.
